I was teaching in London at a state primary school and I had asked a student (boy) why they were in the corridor during lesson time. They came up close to my face and told me to shut up, then threatened to send their uncles to rape me. This student was in Year 4. I was shocked at how easily the threat of rape was used by him. Not that it should matter, but I was an established member of leadership staff and this student thought absolutely nothing of saying this to me.
